At Jitterware, we have enabled 3-degrees of true freedom. Unlike most games that incorporate 1-2 degrees (button mashing gameplay and tilt gameplay) our games involve players to utilize 3-dimensional space around themselves to play.
Simplified, if you move your phone from out in front of you, and then move it all the way above your head (now facing the sky), your view in the game has now shifted from out in front of you, to face the sky of the game. This is not to be confused with Virtual Reality (VR), where 3-D objects or environment can interact with the use of equipment. This is also not to be confused with Augmented Reality (AR), a technology that superimposes objects and environments on a user’s view of the real world. Kinetic Play is exactly what it means, that is you move in a fluid and rapid movements in real life, to project the same exact movement in the game!
As part of our mission to make games accessible and playable to a broad audience, our system requirements are less demanding than it may seem.
For users to play our games, your device must have a gyroscope and accelerometer.
